With the Zodiac you head south and then you dive back to the jetty through many canyons and caves. The light play and the vegetation in the canyons are breathtakingly beautiful. With some luck you can find nudibranch and seastars.

The anemone garden begins at about 28m and goes up to over 35m. It is full of “clownfish” and extends over a large area. Afterwords you dive along the reef´s edge back to the pier. On the way back you should look from time to time into the blue water as often eagle rays pass by.

Here you can only dive by good weather conditions. It is a large coral garden full of soft corals and some small blocks with lots of current. In the sand between the blocks you can find scorpionfish. In the reef are different types of nudibranches.  With a bit of luck, a group of dolphins pass by.

It´s an erg 20 minutes by boat into the blue water with mostly current. The sandy bottom begins at 24 meters up to 3 meters high and is completely covered with amazing soft corals and gorgons. On the reef top are small blocks and some around the erg full of glassfish. There are morays, turtles and a great napoleon.

Utopia north

It´s a drift dive along the coral wall (drop off), which then leads to a beautiful plateau. You slowly shallow up your dive and enter the magnificent coral garden with beautiful soft corals. You can see a barracuda school, turtles and moray eels.

Utopia south

It´s a drift dive in a beautiful coral garden. Then along the drop off to the sand plateau with amazing coral blocks. Between the blocks, you can find scorpionfish and stonefish. In the blue sometimes eagle rays pass by.

You can dive here in almost any weather condition as the entrance is via a pontoon in a small bay. To the north, a beautiful plateau at 12 meters, where you often find a poolpe. To the south, small blocks with beautiful corals and salad coral can be observed.

It’s a bay with sandy entrance in shallow water.  There are beautiful coral blocks covered by soft and hard corals and with hundreds of glassfish. At this dive site you can dive in any weather.

In addition to the beautiful coral blocks, there is a good probability to meet turtles and eagle rays. And if you’re lucky, you can even see the dugong in the sea grass.

Two pleasant dives – one by the zodiac to observe a very beautiful coral garden full of fish. A second dive which starts with a canyon. You will be lucky to perhaps see dolphins on this site.

Magnificent blocks of coral at a depth of 15 meters on the south coast of the bay. In the bay, in the seagrass area, you will find turtles, guitar rays, and with a little luck, the dugong.

Departing from Port Ghalib, and after 65 minutes of navigation, the diving site is perfect for snorkeling and diving. The site is made up of blocks, covered with magnificent soft and hard corals. Often you can find white tip reef shark.

The boat starts from Port Ghalib and will sail 120 minutes to the south. This dive site is perfect for snorkeling and diving. This full day trip will give you enough time to explore the reef. The reef is full of marine life and the reef consist of different soft and hard corals. In shallow water, you can find an old wreck that is covered in soft coral. There is also a canyon to explore.

There are a variety of different dive profiles within this large site. This site features spectacular hard coral reef formation and the opportunity to enter shallow canyons in the reef.

A small bay interrupts the fringing reef at Sharm Trombi. Hard corals developed undisturbed and formed a fantastic underwater location. The sandy bottom is covered from 5 until 30 meters with wonderful corals. Morays, turtles and eagle rays can be found.

“Ras“ means head and the reef looks like a head rising into the water. Around this „head” you can find many small coral boulders. There are also some canyons, which you can explore. You can find morays, turtles, eagle rays and snappers.

The Boat will start from Port Ghalib and will sail 25 minutes to the north. It´s an easy dive perfect for all divers. The dive site consists of a long reef and beautiful corals. Often you can see eagle rays, turtles and a white tip reef shark.

“Suliman Throat“ – a cut in the reef which doesn´t reach the shore. This dive site offers 2 different dive profiles. In the small lagoon, you can sometimes find spinner dolphins.

“Shouna“ means storage basin. The bay has been used for that purpose in the past. Beautiful coral blocks and a reef with mazing underwater world. Here you can see turtles, eagle rays and with a little luck a Dugong in the sea grass.

Sharm Shouni is a narrow bay, 1 hour in the south from Port Ghalib. This dive site provides access to 3 different dives. The reef consist of an amazing coral garden with table corals. You can find a white tip reef shark, turtles and crocodile fish.

Sharm Fughani inside

C’est une grande baie entourée d’un beau jardin de corail. Il y a un tombant agréable avec beaucoup de beaux blocs dans le sable. Le récif est à l’intérieur de la baie, vous observerez un aquarium étonnant riche en poissons colorés. Dans le sable, entre les blocs, vous trouverez souvent “l’homme marchant” de mer Rouge. Sous le bateau, observez les nombreuses anémones avec les poissons-clown.

Sharm Fughani outside

Une plongée dérivante sur un jardin de corail étonnant dans la baie. Vous verrez souvent la raie d’aigle passée. Le récif est recouvert de beaux coraux. Vous pouvez trouver des poulpes, murènes et beaucoup de poissons scorpion. Sous l’encrage du bateau se trouve une anémone verte avec des poissons-clown.

The famous dive spot on the Red Sea was also named Shaab Abu Hamra. The reef is over 400m long and has two breathtaking plateaus, one on the north side and the other on the south side. The place is ideal to meet big, especially longfin sharks, Hammerhead Shark, Ray, Napoleon and giant Barracudas.

This dive is sometimes difficult due to strong currents, it is accessible only to divers having at least the Advanced Open Water Diver level (or equivilant), more than 50 registered dives, and having already performed the “Check dive” on the housereef.

This trip is only accessible to divers as snorkeling is not possible.

This ferry, built in 1966, was 110m in length and 18m in width. On the night of 15 to 16 December 1991, she struck the reef Shaab Sher of Safaga and sank. Unfortunately, this sinking has brought many victims. The wreck sits at a depth of 10 to 32 meters.
