The richness of our house reef is so great that you will make many dives from the jetties. Some of our regular customers have done more than 300 dives and do not get tired of it.
We also offer many activities and excursions that allow you to arrange your stay according to your desires.
Once you have arrived at the dive center and after you have visited the facilities, we will present you various possible activities, the various dive sites that fit to your diving level, and the schedule of the current week.
The dive site you have dreamed of doing is not on the schedule? Come and tell us about it and we will see together if it is possible to organize it for you.

Night dives or very early morning dives
Outside the normal opening hours of the center (8h-17h30), we organize several times a week dives from 6am, as well as night dives. We will present the schedule of the week upon your arrival.

Nightdive

Diving with the Zodiac
To expand the housereef area and have more dive options, it is possible to go on a zodiac for drift dives, or to sites such as Nemo City or Zereb Soraya.

Nemo city

The anemone garden begins at about 28m and goes up to over 35m. It is full of “clownfish” and extends over a large area. Afterwords you dive along the reef´s edge back to the pier. On the way back you should look from time to time into the blue water as often eagle rays pass by.
Zerib Kebir canyons
With the Zodiac you head south and then you dive back to the jetty through many canyons and caves. The light play and the vegetation in the canyons are breathtakingly beautiful. With some luck you can find nudibranch and seastars.

Diving from the shore with Jeep & Minibus
The departure takes place in the morning from the center with jeep and minibus for shore dives. In general, after two dives, which can take place in two different sites, you will be back for lunch. In the afternoon, it is possible to a dive at the house reef.
We have many dive sites available. The easiest way is to make the choice of the dive site together on site, and according to the weather conditions.
Are you accompanied by non-divers? Some sites are suitable for snorkeling.

El Sheikh Malik

In addition to the beautiful coral blocks, there is a good probability to meet turtles and eagle rays. And if you’re lucky, you can even see the dugong in the sea grass.
Mangrove bay
It’s a bay with sandy entrance in shallow water. There are beautiful coral blocks covered by soft and hard corals and with hundreds of glassfish. At this dive site you can dive in any weather.

Our boat as daily or half day excursion
Diving on various local sites from our own boat. We have two options for you:
- Half day (2 dives): return around 14h and therefore possibility to plunge back in the housereef after lunch.
- Full day with lunch on the boat, and therefore possibility of 3 dives from the boat.
We have many dive sites available and the easiest way is to make the choice of the site together on site, and according to the weather conditions
If non-divers want to take a boat trip, some sites are suitable for both: divers, snorkelers, or try scuba-diving.
Some diving sites
Erg Lassal
It´s an erg 20 minutes by boat into the blue water with mostly current. The sandy bottom begins at 24 meters up to 3 meters high and is completely covered with amazing soft corals and gorgons. On the reef top are small blocks and some around the erg full of glassfish. There are morays, turtles and a great napoleon.
Erg Monika
Here you can only dive by good weather conditions. It is a large coral garden full of soft corals and some small blocks with lots of current. In the sand between the blocks you can find scorpionfish. In the reef are different types of nudibranches. With a bit of luck, a group of dolphins pass by.

Sharm Fughani inside
C’est une grande baie entourée d’un beau jardin de corail. Il y a un tombant agréable avec beaucoup de beaux blocs dans le sable. Le récif est à l’intérieur de la baie, vous observerez un aquarium étonnant riche en poissons colorés. Dans le sable, entre les blocs, vous trouverez souvent “l’homme marchant” de mer Rouge. Sous le bateau, observez les nombreuses anémones avec les poissons-clown.
Sharm Fughani outside
Une plongée dérivante sur un jardin de corail étonnant dans la baie. Vous verrez souvent la raie d’aigle passée. Le récif est recouvert de beaux coraux. Vous pouvez trouver des poulpes, murènes et beaucoup de poissons scorpion. Sous l’encrage du bateau se trouve une anémone verte avec des poissons-clown.
Utopia north & south
Utopia north
It´s a drift dive along the coral wall (drop off), which then leads to a beautiful plateau. You slowly shallow up your dive and enter the magnificent coral garden with beautiful soft corals. You can see a barracuda school, turtles and moray eels.
Utopia south
It´s a drift dive in a beautiful coral garden. Then along the drop off to the sand plateau with amazing coral blocks. Between the blocks, you can find scorpionfish and stonefish. In the blue sometimes eagle rays pass by.
Distant excursions
We also offer boat trips from more distant ports such as Marsa Alam or Safaga.
Some diving sites
Elphinstone

The famous dive spot on the Red Sea was also named Shaab Abu Hamra. The reef is over 400m long and has two breathtaking plateaus, one on the north side and the other on the south side. The place is ideal to meet big, especially longfin sharks, Hammerhead Shark, Ray, Napoleon and giant Barracudas.
This dive is sometimes difficult due to strong currents, it is accessible only to divers having at least the Advanced Open Water Diver level (or equivilant), more than 50 registered dives, and having already performed the “Check dive” on the housereef.
This trip is only accessible to divers as snorkeling is not possible.
Salem Express wreck

This ferry, built in 1966, was 110m in length and 18m in width. On the night of 15 to 16 December 1991, she struck the reef Shaab Sher of Safaga and sank. Unfortunately, this sinking has brought many victims. The wreck sits at a depth of 10 to 32 meters.

Sha'ab Marsa Alam

This is a small bay where there is a good chance to encounter dolphins.
The first dive leads to a coral garden with beautiful blocks of corals and an abundance of fish. The second dive starts through a canyon before you reach a small wreck.
This excursion is accessible to non-divers as there is possibility of snorkeling.
