Rohanou diving sites

We have the privilege of having an extraordinary housereef right on the beach. Zereb Kebir Bay is indeed one of the most famous sites in the Marsa Alam / Quseir area. We also offer numerous dives nearby by speedboat, jeep or boat.

Shore diving on the house reef

Located south of El Quseir, this site is very well protected. Whatever the weather conditions, you can dive or snorkel there.

The site begins with a shallow bay. Going south, you will find many canyons and caves. On the north side there is a beautiful coral garden.

The site is accessible to divers of all levels and deserves more than a visit.

The housereef is very large and includes 5 areas:

  • The dive towards the north (departure and return pontoon): it is a drop-off
Nemo City: located at the far north of the housereef, you have to get there by zodiac with a return drift dive. This is a large area covered with anemones (clown fish nursery) located between 27m and 40m. It is therefore the only dive on the housereef that requires you to be at least PE40.
The larger, deeper blocks in the extension of the bay
South side of the pontoon: the bay and the first small canyons
Further south (southern slope of the bay): the large canyons and caves. To see them all, you have to go to the far south by zodiac and return by diving towards the pontoon. Essential guide the first time for orientation.

“The richness of our house reef is so great that you will make many dives from the jetties.”

The richness of our house reef is so great that you will make many dives from the jetties. Some of our regular customers have done more than 300 dives and do not get tired of it.

We also offer many activities and excursions that allow you to arrange your stay according to your desires.

Once you have arrived at the dive center and after you have visited the facilities, we will present you various possible activities, the various dive sites that fit to your diving level, and the schedule of the current week.

The dive site you have dreamed of doing is not on the schedule? Come and tell us about it and we will see together if it is possible to organize it for you.

Outside of the center’s usual opening hours (8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.), we organize dives several times a week from 6 a.m., as well as night dives. We will present the week’s schedule to you upon your arrival.

A zodiac allows you to diversify the dives on the housereef even more, particularly towards the Canyons and Nemo City which are located at the ends of the housereef. Use of the zodiac on the housereef is free 3 times a week.
